Key GSA FAR & Acquisition Requirements
- Mandatory Reporting (FAR Part 3): Contractors with contracts valued at $6$ 6$6 million or more (longer than six months) must report criminal fraud, conflicts of interest, and False Claims Act violations.
- Small Business & Socioeconomic Credit (FAR Part 4): Contracting officers must report procurement data within three business days of award to FPDS to ensure socioeconomic credits are properly recorded.
- Best Value & Documentation (FAR Part 8): Acquisitions via GSA Schedules require a "Limited-Sources Justification," which must include the agency, description of needs, and a determination of best value.
- Compliance & Contracting: Vendors must strictly adhere to all terms in the solicitation, Statement of Work (SOW), Statement of Objectives (SOO), or Performance Work Statement (PWS).
- Micro-purchase Threshold: For federal awards on or after October 1, 2025, the max threshold increased to $15,000$ 15 comma 000$15,000.
